Another battle whose combatants could not be further apart in how they got to where they are today is in Pennsylvania between former Oprah Winfrey Show contributor, Republican Mehmet Oz, best known to her viewers as “Dr Oz” and the 6ft 8in, tattooed, Harvard-graduate-turned-small-town mayor and hoodie wearing John Fetterman.
Pennsylvania has seen its fair share of close races throughout the years, the last two presidential elections were each decided by barely 1%, and this race is no different when it comes to the closeness of the numbers. However, the main difference this time is not just that the two men are clearly larger than life characters, but that both campaigns have devolved into personal, crude, and rather childish attacks on each other.
