5. Rep. Jim Baird (R – IN) – Army

Jim Baird (Republican Party) is a member of the U.S. House, representing Indiana’s 4th Congressional District. Born on June 4, 1945, the 73 years old, Jim Baird has sworn into office on January 3, 2019.

Jim Baird received both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in animal science from Purdue University. He got his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Purdue University and his doctorate from the University of Kentucky. In the year 1970, he was called up into the Army as an infantry officer in the 523rd Transportation Company and sent to fight in Vietnam.

Baird is motivated by a great need for a common sense methodology to fix the broken system in Washington. Baird was assigned to the Committee on Agriculture and Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.
