10. Rep. Anthony Brown (D – MD) – Army Reserve

Anthony G. Brown (Democratic Party) is a member of the U.S. House, representing Maryland’s 4th Congressional District. Born on November 21, 1961, raised in a home where his father was the first in the family to ever attend college, Congressman Brown was shown the worth of service at an early age. He assumed office on January 3, 2017. His current term ends on January 3, 2023.

Congressman Brown earned his graduate degree from Harvard College and Harvard Law School. Known by his friends and colleagues for his exceptional leadership qualities, in 1998, Congressman Brown was first elected to the Maryland House of Delegates to represent Prince George’s County.

Brown rose swiftly, attending as Vice Chair of the powerful House Judiciary Committee and, later, as Majority Whip. In 2013, Brown was acknowledged for his work synchronizing with the legislature on health care reform, improving veterans’ services and reducing domestic violence, among other credits.
