Restoring confidence
Ann Skeet is a senior director of leadership ethics working at Santa Clara University’s Markkula Center for Applied Ethics.
She explained that “Jen Psaki was very capable in restoring confidence to the White House briefing room, as she consistently reinforced President Biden’s message, using different facts to support his position, and confidently proving her intellect and skills when it comes to meeting media requests and correct inaccuracies showed at times in her give and take with the press pool.”
As she added, Psaki is considered to be unflappable in the face of personal criticism, or any challenges to the administration she might represent.
She’s also in no rush, willing to restore public confidence in White House messaging over time, showing a high level of maturity and patience that, in fact, her position always required.
