Virginia Hill

Also known as the “Flamingo” or the “Queen of the Gangster Molls”, Hill became famous because she was the lover of Brooklyn mobster Bugsy Siegel.

She was very poor as a child, telling people that she never had a pair of shoes until she was 17 years old. Virginia was born in Alabama and raised in Georgia, but she moved to Chicago so she can become famous and rich.

Working as an accountant for Al Capone, we can say she found a bit of both. Hill killed herself by overdosing on sleeping pills near Salzburg, Austria, on March 24, 1966.
