Pearl Elliot
Pearl Elliot shared ties with John Dillinger and Harry Pierpont, but she wasn’t a gun moll. She was a notorious madam. She had a brothel in Kokomo, Indiana, that apparently enjoyed police protection.
In order to keep things at her rural establishment as safe as possible, they had a whole system where she would shine a flashlight out a window in order things got out of hand.
She also helped Pierpont’s guys to hide right after a bank robbery. And naturally, her role as a “treasurer” for Dillinger earned her a spot on the 1933 Public Enemies list.

Great reading and a touch of our history. Even in high school I enjoyed reading about the things and people that live during that period of life. Thanks very much.
