Seen as an attractive brunette with brown eyes and a habit of carrying two guns, Marie Barker became famous after a series of shop robberies performed by her Pants Gang.
Baker became famous for the bizarre demands that she always made to the shops’ clerks. Once the customers left the store, she always used to draw her weapons and say: “Take off your pants!”
According to the Miami News, it was vanity that brought her down, as she was checking her makeup during a butcher shop robbery, Baker let a hostage run free. She was soon recognized as Marie Barker, who was LATER uncovered as Mrs. Rose Durante.
