Biden can also be applauded for keeping another campaign promise to leave the most lasting mark on the federal courts by appointing the first black woman to the US Supreme Court when Ketanji Brown Jackson was sworn in. He also appointed more judges in his first two years than any president since John F Kennedy, with many of them being women and individuals from racial and ethnic minorities.
As the saying goes, ‘The proof is in the pudding,’ so we will have to wait until November 8 to see if the electorate is licking their lips at the achievements and accomplishments of Biden’s first two years in the White House, or whether they will be spooning it into the trash can.
