As mentioned before, the Afghanistan withdrawal and the shambles that followed fueled many disenchanted voices when it came to Biden’s handling of foreign affairs. While others point to the joint US-UK decision to sell US submarines to Australia which caused a massive rift between the United States and their ally France.
The Biden administration’s failure to address North Korea’s continued belligerence as they fire missiles into the Sea of Japan and the attempts to restart negotiations with Iran over its nuclear weapons program all but dead in the water have again been seen (and used) by his opponents as a sign of weakness on the international stage.
