Did he keep Canada environmentally friendly?
During his campaign, Trudeau promised that ending fossil fuel subsidies will happen. This action should have made Canada a much greener nation. Unfortunately, nothing of that sort happened. Remember when Justin Trudeau put this crisis on top of his priorities list for the G7 summit in Charlevoix, Quebec, back in 2018?
He said that it was urgent “for the world to come together and fight climate change”, but so far, none of it actually happened. While the Canadian government announced last year that it will end the fossil fuel sector by the end of 2022, we are waiting to see if anything will really happen.
