He spent $215,000 on a vacation Canadians paid for
He went on a vacation that cost more than $215,000 to the Bahamas, paid by Canadian taxpayers. You would think that would be enough to make you angry when you hear Trudeau’s name, right?
To be completely honest, that huge price tag might not have been entirely Trudeau’s fault, at least not completely, but it’s still extremely ridiculous. The amount of money they spent on that vacation, which covers the RCMP, DND, Global Affairs Canada, and the Privy Council’s costs, is 70% higher than the $127,187 tab that was first pitched in the Parliament. I mean, it’s only human to miscalculate a couple of bucks, but to spend 70% more?!
