7. Dwight D. Eisenhower
Before becoming the president in 1953, Eisenhower served in the US military during World War 2. As Eisenhower rose through the ranks to succeed as Army chief of staff, the beautiful Kay Summersby was appointed to be his designated driver. The military life was hard and lonesome, and it is rumored that Eisenhower and Summersby developed a romantic relationship.
Although they both denied any such allegations, Kay Summersby wrote another book titled Past Forgetting while she was dying of cancer which later confirmed her romantic entanglement with Eisenhower.
