10 Senate Seats That Might Flip Parties This Fall

New Hampshire

New Hampshire is probably the only competitive state that has an outstanding primary. The September 13 Republican contest will finally decide who’ll be the next to take first-term Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan and even how competitive that November election will turn out to be.

Retired Army Brig. Gen. Don Bolduc, who didn’t get the state’s other Senate seat in 2020, led to the GOP field with 43 percent among likely primary voters, which was way better than what Senate President Chuck Morse did. This is concerning for Republicans who are looking to flip this seat.

North Carolina

Republicans try to hold the seat of retiring Sen. Richard Burr, but they have another nominee who has been outraised. GOP Rep. Ted Budd managed to get over $6 million by the end of June, while Democratic nominee Cheri Beasley raised $16 million.

Budd was the winner of the GOP nomination, as he was backed up by Trump, but Democrats can’t help but argue the fact that he’s way too conservative for the Purple State. Democrats are hitting Budd as hard as they can over abortion, which comes right after the recent reinstatement of North Carolina’s 20-week abortion ban.

Ohio

Ohio switches places with Florida now, even if that could change again right before Election Day. Even so, it seems that GOP Sen. Rob Portman’s seat is most likely to flip because Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan is running a much better campaign than Republican J.D. Vance, who hasn’t been extremely active lately.

What’s even more concerning to Washington Republicans is the fundraising organized by Vance, as Ryan managed to get six times more than him. All of this only prompted the Senate Leadership Fund to definitely pull ad reservations in Arizona, a state where Biden won, and invest $28 million in Ohio, a state where Trump won twice by 8 points.

Florida

It seems that the Sunshine State might eventually decide on being the more competitive race for Democrats. Unlike the Republican nominee in the Buckeye State, GOP Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida didn’t have to face the same problems when it came to fundraising, even if he’s been outraised by his Democratic opponent, US Rep. Val Demings, who won last month.

Law enforcement and policing still remain a big focus of the attacks between them, and Demings’ past as a former Orlando police chief only adds an interesting dynamic to the situation.

Colorado

It doesn’t surprise anyone that one of Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet’s first negative ads in his bid targeted abortion. In Colorado, Biden won by nearly 14 points in 2020, so the Democrats are decided to make the elimination of federal abortion rights a key part of their midterm message.

Republican nominee Joe O’Dea is responding in ads that are narrated by his daughter and his wife. “Joe O’Dea says he’s American before he’s Republican, and he really means it.” according to his wife.

  1. Biden’s gain In approval ratings is based on how much he is giving away for free. For the past 4 decades American students have been indoctrinated- not educated, via anti-America propaganda. These morons now vote. Obama began the destruction of a Constitutional country and demise of the police. He, Soros & pro-Marxist-Communist radical are the power behind brain dead Biden’s Presidency. We are living in the Upside-Down world of Mr. Mum. Decency, love of God & Country is being replaced with depravity, lawlessness, violence, hate as the anticipated societal norms. What’s left of an educated, thinking citizenry has to make clear to these idiots- nothing is Free. Taxpayers; which reflect the largest group are the middle class which are being strangled with this Authoritarian, puppet president must rise up and renounce this deviant system with their vote in November. This is the most important election our history. It will determine if we remain the livery loving country our founding fathers gave us, or a mirror image of Communist China that has the Biden family i n their best pocket.
