Some have pointed to the fact that time and time again, people have dismissed Trump’s political aspirations and his ability to brush off any controversies by labeling him as a failed businessman and third rate reality TV show star, yet he still keeps getting up like Rocky Balboa. So it would be wise to take this big announcement seriously as Trump showed on 16 June 2015, after slowly descending a golden escalator to the basement of his eponymous New York tower to grab American politics by the throat. Something he appears to still be doing (at least in the Republican Party).
Trump and the Trump brand have taken a few blows as of late with the many lawsuits swirling around them. But it was the failure of the ‘Red wave’ to manifest in the 2022 midterms and the candidates that had Trump’s seal of approval failing miserably at the ballot box, that has caused him the biggest problems. People in the GOP are starting to not fear him anymore and many Trump voters are openly admitting that they are tired of the constant complaining about the widely debunked election fraud in 2020.
