Our final history maker, Gluesenkamp Perez, was responsible for what the Seattle Times called “the most stunning political upset in the country this year” by easily defeating both Trump-endorsed candidate Joe Kent and the incumbent, Jaime Herrera Beutler, who was controversial for voting for the second impeachment of Donald Trump, to secure Washington’s 3rd congressional district.
