Does the West’s attention deficit disorder kick in before any of this?

As you’ve probably seen, throughout the entire democratic world, people are learning to say “Slava Ukraini!” which means “Glory to Ukraine!”, while donning blue and yellow garments, and participating in pro-Ukrainian demonstrations.

Even though the U.S. public has about three weeks of attention for any major overseas calamity, this issue seems that it’s likely to last longer. And surely, a big part of this is due to Zelenskiy’s ability to use television and social media to win over the hearts of many.

Plus, let’s be honest, Americans are able to recognize a war of independence when they see one! But truth to be told, the only good thing that might come out of Western public outrage is a constant pressure on Biden to take a tougher stand with Russia.
