Not to mention the struggle doesn’t end there. You will have to soak the beans (preferably overnight) before you have to cook them for a few hours to render them edible (sometimes you even have to cook them two separate times!). Is all this hassle worth the 50 cents difference that comes with buying the plain canned ones? We didn’t think so either. (Even if you have an Instant Pot, that’s just justifying having bought one and not using it as often as you planned.)
Get the canned version of this food and save some time for yourself. Plus, you can find all different types of beans that you may not be able to find in their raw, dried form otherwise, with the addition that you can always search up how to use the liquid in baking! It makes substituting ingredients for people with allergies so much easier, and you get the bonus that you are using everything that comes in the can!
