A lot of canned soup gets a very bad reputation out of the fact that they are full of salt and in the long run bad for you (some also taste so bad we wouldn’t touch them with a ten foot pole!). Yet, times have evolved, and a lot of brands have simplified their recipes, using real ingredients, and are low sodium.

They are even labeled as so, or you could just take a second to read the back of the label.
Canned soup is great to have around when you are in a pinch and need a quick meal, despite being sick or not, and you can try some to know that when you are truly sick, you have the variety that you like.

There’s nothing worse than having nothing to eat and the only thing in the house is bad canned soup. Let’s all be honest, sometimes there is not enough time to cook, or we are feeling bad and there are not that many people that could be there for us 24/7 as much as they would like to. So, until they get back from work, canned soup might just be your best friend, so having some on hand is the best way to go.
