It’s true that not everyone who ever had a problem with Russian President Vladimir Putin has died in weird circumstances. However, there are many people who thoroughly criticized Putin’s policies, and ended up murdered. For example, the daylight shooting of a Russian citizen who sought asylum in Ukraine has eventually led to speculation of the Kremlin’s involvement.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko was the one to call the shooting in Kyiv of Denis Voronenkov, a former Russian Communist Party member who started criticizing Putin. We’ve decided to make a list with a couple of people who were mysteriously killed because they once criticized Putin.
