He didn’t do any electoral reform
Back when he was campaigning, he pointed out how flawed the Canadian electoral system was. After being elected, Trudeau’s government decided that the system works just fine, so they decided to leave it as it is.
Many people who actively advocate for electoral reform want things to change in some parts of the voting system, like the proportional representation, which they believe would reduce the practice of strategic voting and would reflect the voters’ views with more accuracy. These suggestions should be reviewed and be taken into consideration if Justin Trudeau wants to prove that he’s a man of words to his voters.
