1. National Association of Realtors (NAR)
The National Association of Realtors is a trade association with workers in the real estate industry. Right now, it has over 1.3 million members, including institutions, associations, and councils. These members cover all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industry. NAR also acts as a self-regulatory organization for real estate brokers.
The organization is currently based in Chicago. And this city has been its headquarters since it was founded back on May 12, 1908, as the National Association of Real Estate Exchanges. The current name was adopted in 1972. For the past elections, this was the most influential PAC. It spent over $3,9 million. It tends to support more Democrats (52%) than Republicans (48%).
