  • Ohio: Lori Lightfoot – Lori Lightfoot is now the 56th mayor of Chicago, and the first Black and openly gay person that ever held this position.
  • Oklahoma: Elizabeth Warren – Elizabeth Warren was the first woman to represent Massachusetts in the US Senate. She became a great liberal figure as chair of the Congressional Oversight Panel for the Troubled Asset Relief Program in 2008.
  • Oregon: Patricia Schroeder – Patricia was the first woman that represented Colorado in the Congress. She had many legislative wins, some of which include the 1978 Pregnancy Discrimination Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
