In a tirade of posts continuing to bad mouth the Justice Department and FBI as ‘corrupt’ and ‘stuffed with, and listening to, Radical Left ‘MONSTERS,’ while also reiterating that the body as a whole is unfairly investigating him, Trump would take direct aim at Smith. He accused him of not only being compromised, citing the fact that his wife worked with Michelle Obama on a documentary and donated to Biden’s 2020 campaign, but that he was a ‘political hit man’ and a ‘Trump hater.’
As Trump continues to insist he did ‘nothing wrong’ he has convinced himself that attacking and threatening Jack Smith (and his wife) is a strategy that will work for him. It will not. As Trump was ranting on Truth Social, reports came out that Smith has already looked over the evidence already collected by the DOJ and knows how he will proceed in his investigation. First of which is to secure testimony from Trump’s former Vice President Mike Pence.
Picking a fight with a man whose integrity, professionalism, and unbiased approach to the cases he has been involved in, is likely to not end well for Donald Trump.
