Bonnie Parker is, without any doubt, the most famous female American gangster. Parker was part of the iconic crime duo known as Bonnie and Clyde.
The two were famous bank robbers that lived in the “public enemy era” of 1931 to 1934, as all the exploits of outlaws made them celebrities.
Parker already had a strong reputation for being smart and outspoken. But when she met Clyde, it obviously changed everything. Even if she was married, the two hit it off instantly.
Apart from their well-planned robberies and killings, the legend of the couple also grew due to the photoshop they did near their Joplin, Missouri, hideout, which is up until this day images that inspire many re-imaginings of their lives.
