For the moment, there are 144 women in Congress. Now, more than ever, women throughout the United States of America have managed to shatter political glass ceilings and make their way towards success. However, Vermont won’t be on this list, as it is the only state that has never sent a female politician to Congress.
So why do some states still have so few women in Congress? Well… we don’t know the exact answer but studies suggest that the countries with the most effective coronavirus responses for example have only one thing in common – A WOMAN in the office. We are not suggesting for a minute that men can’t deal with a crisis, but, apparently, women respond better to it.
