- Republican Fred Upton, Michigan’s 6th – Upton has kept his office since 1987, and he also comes from a district that’s a bit more moderate. How? Well, Upton has maintained steady and good relationships with the Democrats, including President-elect Joe Biden, and had even #WearYourMask in his Twitter bio, which is progressive for a Republican. He said that “it is time to say enough is enough”, when it came to Trump’s impeachment, so he obviously was PRO.
- Republican Jaime Herrera Beutler, Washington’s 3rd – Even if Herrera Beutler was a bit swept in with the Tea Party wave in 2010, her district is still a moderate one. She also gained prominence many years ago for giving birth to her child three months early, and the baby was born without kidneys and with a rare syndrome. Her daughter, Abigail, was the first to survive the often-fatal condition. The now mother of three beautiful children and congresswoman declared on the House floor that she would vote in favor of impeachment, saying that she’s “not choosing sides, but choosing truth.”
- Republican Peter Meijer, Michigan’s 3rd – Meijer has won his seat with 53% of the vote. While he represents a district that was held before by Justin Amash, the former Republican who meanwhile turned independent voted in favor of Trump’s impeachment. He’s a Columbia University graduate who also served in Afghanistan and a social conservative who was in favor of restrictions on abortion rights. But even so, he said that Trump showed a lack of courage, and “betrayed millions”.
- Republican John Katko, New York’s 24th – Katko is a moderate politician that comes from an evenly divided moderate district. He’s a former federal prosecutor that spoke against Trump: “It can’t be ignored that President Trump was encouraging this insurrection.” And he also noted that while the riot was happening, Trump did nothing to stop it.
- Republican David Valadao, California’s 21st – The Southern California congressman is representing a majority-Latino district where Biden won 54% to 44%. He’s one of the rarest cases in Congress who is extremely willing to work with other parties too. He called President Trump “a driving force in these catastrophic events that took place on January 6.”

This just proves that anyone can be bought. I strongly believe there should be term limits on the House and the Senate, and they should ONLY receive PER DIEM while in session and have to go back to a REAL JOB AND WORLD when not in session. It just might “wake up” their dumbasses. We the people need to take back control of those who represent us instead of letting them run amok like effing spoiled ass kids. My dog has more common sense than those who are suppose to be speaking for us. I SAID WHAT I SAID!!
I couldn’t have said it any better than.Thank you for what you said.l just want to add:And find a way to keep the rich elite from corrupting our government.Use that GOD given wealth for good and not evil.
