As the highest court in the federal judiciary of the United States, the Supreme Court has made many landmark rulings since the court convened for the first time on February 2, 1790. However, in recent weeks they have handed down two major rulings that are fraught with controversy as these mostly conservative judges upended the almost 50-year-old precedent on abortion and expanded gun rights for the first time in a decade.
With the eyes of Americans firmly focused on these nine judges, many of who blatantly lied about their position on Roe v Wade during their confirmation, we’ve compiled a list of six of the disputes they still have to settle.
