Trump has long said that he had no issues with releasing his tax returns if it weren’t for the fact that the IRS was currently (and persistently according to him) auditing him, despite the fact that being under audit by the IRS does not preclude someone from releasing their tax returns publicly. He chose not to. Despite his protestations and protracted legal battles, the Democratic lead House Ways and Means Committee now has six years of his federal tax returns.
The committee, led by Democratic Rep. Richard Neal of Massachusetts, had sought six years of Trump’s tax records, records that include information about both Trump personally and several of his corporate entities. Neal has yet to confirm if he actually has the records in his possession yet, but it is believed that a review of the former commander-in-chief’s tax returns is not expected to take place at this session. It is still unknown whether these records will yield any major new information.

Tax EVASION is a crime, but tax AVOIDANCE IS NOT! And when do we get to see all of the tax returns from the Democrats who have become multi millionaires AFTER they entered congress? But then the IRS is a creature of the democrats, so why would there be any questions about anyone’s tax returns? It is pretty much a “given” that these people use their being a member of congress as a way to become rich, and their RIGHT, and main reason for being there! Just passing a whole bunch of ANTI CONSTITUTIONAL laws is only secondary.
