Peoples Liberation Army Air Force
The PLAAF is an aviation branch of the People’s Liberation Army, which is the military of the People’s Republic of China. It was officially founded on November 11, 1949, and it has over 330,000 personnel and 2500+ aircrafts.
It is by far the largest air force in Asia, and it’s well known for comprising some of the deadliest self-reliance combat aircrafts. After the fall of USSR, Russia was the principal arm suppliers of China’s. Nowadays, the Chinese Air Force is known to have adopted a different, more lethal approach in the modern arena of air striking. Well, it sounds dangerous!
Armee de IAir
In 1933, the Armee de IAir was officially made an independent military arm. During the post-World War 2 era, the French made a huge effort to develop a domestic aircraft industry. The Mirage successfully proved its abilities in the Gulf War, as it was one of the most popular jet fighters of its day, with an enormous quality of performance in the battle fields.
It has over 300 combat aircraft in service, and over 234 combat aircraft, through which the majority are 158 Dassault Mirage 2000 and 59 Dassault Rafale. Plus, they are currently waiting the A 400M military transport aircraft, which is still in development.
Luftwaffe
Luftwaffe is the aerial branch of the German Armed Forces. It was first established in 1935, after it violated the Treaty of Versailles. In the modern times, the United States Government still lends some nuclear weapons to Luftwaffe, under the well-known NATO nuclear sharing agreement.
The Luftwaffe has over 3,400,000 Personnel & 119,871 Aircrafts. It was by far the most doctrinally advanced and the most battle-experienced air force in the world during the World War II. In 2005 and 2008, F-4 Phantom fighter planes took part in the Baltic Air Policing operation of NATO. The majority of the Luftwaffe pilots are trained either in America or in Canada.
Royal Australian Air Force
RAAF was created in March 31, 1921. It mostly participated in some of the deadliest conflicts of the 20th century, such as World War 2. It has over 13,991 active personnel, 4,316 reserve personnel and 275 aircrafts. The motto of the Royal Australian Air Force is “Through Struggle to the Stars”.
Japan Air Self-Defense Force
JASDF was established on 1 July 1954. It has one of the sharpest tools in the world, made for the defense-oriented policies of Japan. After World War 2, Japan didn’t have a separate air force. It carries out various combat air patrols around Japan, while also keeping an extensive network of ground and air early warning radar systems.
