Former president Donald Trump has hardly gained a reputation for honesty, The Washington Post Fact Checker team estimated that while in office he made 30,573 false or misleading claims over 4 years, but this time, The Donald has been a man of his word when he stood behind the podium and announced his third-straight presidential bid.
The 45th president of the United States eyes being the 47th, believing that his winning strategy and his path to victory is to approach the election in 2024 in the same way he did in 2016 when he descended down that golden escalator. Once again claiming to be a political outsider who will shake up the political establishment on the left and right, as both sides of the aisle now largely view him as a danger to democracy.
